Q: What if my Excel file has blank rows or cells?
A: The system automatically skips blank rows, but an error will be shown if the URL field is empty. It's recommended to clean up your data before uploading.
Q: For A4 paper in portrait orientation, how many QR codes are recommended per row?
A: It is recommended not to exceed 5. If the QR codes are too small, they may be difficult to scan. We suggest the QR code size should be no smaller than 1.5cm x 1.5cm, as smaller sizes can affect scannability.
Q: Can I customize the color of the QR codes?
A: Currently, only black and white QR codes are supported to ensure optimal scanning compatibility.
Q: Can I hide the text below the QR code?
A: Yes, you can uncheck "Show text below QR Code" in the layout settings to display only the QR code.
Q: What is the purpose of the border?
A: The border helps with cutting and alignment, especially useful when creating stickers or labels.
Q: Does the URL have to include http://?
A: Yes, the full protocol (http:// or https://) must be included, otherwise the QR code may not open correctly after scanning.
Q: Are URL shortening services supported?
A: Yes, any valid URL format can be converted, including short URLs from services like bit.ly, tinyurl, etc.
Q: Can I use Google Forms links?
A: Yes, links from various Google services like Google Forms, Google Drive, and YouTube are supported.
Q: Are links to LINE Official Accounts or Facebook Pages supported?
A: Yes, links to various social media platforms, including LINE, Facebook, Instagram, etc., are supported.
Q: Why does it sometimes crash?
A: This is usually due to a large file size or too many data entries. Depending on your computer or tablet's performance, it's recommended to process in batches, trying not to exceed 500 entries at a time.
Q: What should I do if the generated QR code won't scan?
A: Please check the following:
1. Is the URL format correct?
2. Is the QR code size too small?
3. Is the print quality clear?
4. Is your phone's scanning app working correctly? Try scanning other QR codes.
Q: What are the limitations of the link checking feature? Why can't it detect some broken links?
Q: Are there other free methods to quickly generate QR codes from Excel?
